Saarland - Geschenkheft Hochwasserhilfe 1948 - RAR !!!!

Mit das Seltenste, was die Saarland-Philatelie zu bieten hat!!! Ein Geschenkheft mit komplettem Satz Mi 255 bis 258 mit Falz, eingeklebt in dafür vorgedruckte Felder sowie Block 1 und Block 2 als Vorzugsdrucke (M = "Ministerdrucke"). Derartige Hefte mit Ministerdrucken, von denen es jeweils nur 110 Stück gab, sind nur sehr selten und nur an ganz hochgestellte Persönlichkeiten abgegeben worden. Allein diese Blöcke haben einen Michelwert von EUR 4.400,00. Beide Blöcke aus ungummierten, dicken Kartonpaper sind von Herrn Hoffmann geprüft. The Saar-area - our speciality

The changeable story of the Saar-area settles the special attraction of collecting these stamps. The armistice of the 11th November 1918 ended the first world war. The peace-treaty, concluded on the 28th June 1919 in Versailles determined, that 15 years later a referendum (plebiscite) has to be carried out. This led on the 01st March 1935 to the reintegration of the Saar-area at the German empire. After Hitler and the Nazis had lost the second world war, the Saarland fall back at France as a part of the French zone. Later on, the efforts of the first President of the Federal Republic, Theodor Heuss, named to the return of the Saarland as a state of the Federal Republic of Germany. A new collecting sphere was emerged: OPD Saarbrücken.
